Nature lovers will enjoy this day tour from Melbourne to the Wilsons Promontory National Park. In small groups, you will be collected from Melbourne CBD at 7am and driven through stunning landscapes of the greater Melbourne region to the national park where you will get outdoors amongst nature and go bushwalking. Wilsons Promontory National Park is one of the most beautiful coastlines of Victoria and is home to many Australian native wildlife. This is your opportunity to have a truly unique Australian experience with wildlife in their native environment. As you leave Melbourne, you can soak in the views on the scenic drive past green hills and farmlands to Gippsland. The first stop of the day is at the charming village of Meeniyan for a morning tea at Gippsland cafe restaurant. You will then continue the drive onto the Wilsons Promontory National Park where the rugged mountains and wildlife begin to emerge. Among the wildlife that you may encounter throughout the day are wombats, kangaroos, echidnas, emus and koalas.

Arriving at the national park at Tidal River you will embark on a bush walk. Choose between a gentle stroll around the river and rainforest or tackle the climb to the summit of Mt Oberon for breathtaking ocean views. After working up an appetite, a delicious lunch is served made from fresh and locally grown produce. The afternoon is spent exploring the pristine beaches and forests of this region at Norman Bay. If the weather is suitable you may even have a swim before the scenic journey back to Melbourne at 7.30pm.
